KIP STODGHILL, G.G., President

Oversees The Galaxie Jewelers production shop and works with clients to design jewelry.

An accomplished goldsmith, Kip Stodghill, G.G., is trained in jewelry production, from wax model making to casting and stone setting, as well as fine jewelry repair and restoration. He studied with theGemological Institute of Americaand obtained the title of Graduate Gemologist (G.G.). Kip started working in the family store while still in high school, apprenticing with his father and with other local gold and silversmiths. He entered the business full time after graduation. Colleen, his wife, is bookkeeper for the company and together they have a daughter, Caroline.

Kip is a Lifetime member of the GIA Alumni Association and a member of the Lone Star Chapter of the GIA Alumni Assocciation. He is also a member and past President of the Fort Bend Astronomy Club. He volunteers as a Telescope Operator at the George Observatory,Houston Museum of Natural Science, and is a member of the Meadows Citizen Police Association, Meadows Place, TX and a volunteer Crime Victim/Witness Liaison with the Meadows Place Police Dept.
