DEE STODGHILL, CEO

Oversees operations for The Galaxie Jewelers, while his son handles the in-store business.

Dee Stodghill holds two degrees in engineering but never worked as an engineer, although he admits to using this training every day. Instead, he turned his hobby of dealing with diamonds and designing jewelry for family members into a thriving business. When it came time to name the business over 23 years ago, Dee thought, "The Lord created as many beautiful gemstones on earth as there are stars in the galaxy," thus The Galaxie Jewelers came into being, along with the company slogan, "We create the Unusual."

Dee is a long-time member of the Whitehall Club, a business breakfast club; and theNational Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. He and his wife, Jo, are active members of their church, Grace Community Church.
